Battlecreek

Battlecreek is the culmination of years of friendships, touring, recording, career changes and, for the lack of a better term, dumb luck . Formed in the fall of 2005, the members of Battlecreek are all veterans of the BC Country Music Scene, whose career paths have merged and diverged thoughout the years. Bassist Randy Sheppard (Saddletramp/The Roosters/Backseat Driver/Mitz and the Blitz) ) lead guitarist Dave Stang (Mellissa & The Prairie Rose Band/Desperados/Mitz and the Blitz) and Singer Lori Jordan (Ray McAuley Rising Star Award/CCMA Female Vocalist Nominee/BCCMA Female Vocalist Nominee) have all enjoyed considerable success as both members of touring club bands and as individual artists, however, until a chance meeting, had never performed together as a band . The resulting energy was instant .

The already solid vocal harmonies of Randy and Dave, combined with the warm and rich vocal stylings of Lori was pure magic. A Band was born . Performing a wide variety of tunes from Traditional and Old Time country favorites, to the latest New Country hits, with a few Originals thrown in for good measure, Battlecreek will enamor you with their warm rich harmonies, infectious energy and wry humour.
