With
a voice as smooth as silk Kristal Barrett spins her
melodies and captivates her audience. Born and raised in Abbotsford,
British Columbia, Kristal has been singing since she could
talk. She was naturally drawn to the school and church choir,
and then on to guitar lessons for four years with the talented
Colin Daniel. Kristal studied voice in BC with vocal coach,
Dana Wright for four years.
In 1998, Kristal was nominated for the YTV Achievement Award
for vocals, and has won many singing competitions. Kristal
performed at many BC country venues, festivals, and was employed
singing for local fans while hosting karaoke parties at a
popular restaurant for 2 years.
