Osvaldo was born in Chile, the son of a renown singer, “El Indio Araucano”, who enjoyed tremendous success in South and Central America (Argentina, Columbia, Venezuela and Mexico, among others), but his greatest accomplishment was to have triumphed in Cuba, a country in which he resided, marrying a beautiful Cuban woman with whom he had a son and a daughter.

As a teenager in Chile, Osvaldo recorded for Odeon.  During this time he mostly performed Rock and Twist.  He moved to Puerto Rico as a very young man, where music became only a hobby, but he enjoyed the tropical flavour.  He came to reside in Vancouver in 1995, once again making music his full time employment, but this time mixing the tropical with the romantic.

Osvaldo performs mostly in restaurants and private parties.  His audiences greatly appreciate his sexy voice as well as his musical versatility; he can just easily interpret a Tango as a Bolero, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Flamenco, and  Smooth Jazz.
